Personal Branding with a Gravatar

If you want to brand yourself on the internet you need to interact with others as often as possible. Whenever you leave a comment on a site that allows Avatars, you need to have your picture show up rather than a blank icon. I do my personal branding with a Gravatar; so should you. This 4 minute video shows you exactly how to get your own Gravatar.

Hello Phil,

I did not know about Gravatar. So I went to the web site to sign up and found that I already had one. The reason that i had one was that I have a word press blog and got signed up automatically. All i had to do is upload a picture.

Gravatar’s a great for so many reasons. I’ve got one myself BUT there remains a hidden danger of identity theft and the hijacking of a personal brand.

Alert! It’s insanely easy to steal someone’s internet identity!

I wish these concerns were addressed by Gravatar… Well, great intro to Gravatar video!
